Group member’s occupations range from law enforcement, military, educational providers, healthcare, accounting, legal, and software development.
The unit receives training in K9 handling techniques, animal behavior, scent theory, and search techniques. This training comes from internally and externally certified K9 handlers and by attending regional and national seminars.
All of our K9s have obedience training with many holding Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certifications through the American Kennel Club (AKC).
